All the things people say they want out of science

"Who in the world would take their pregnant wife, great with child, put her in a wagon and drag her over 100 miles, and when she gets where she's going she has the baby?

"I mean, she was pretty much ready to deliver when they left home! Who would do that? Why would you do that?! They did it because Luke 2:1 says there was a decree of Caesar Augustus that said all the world would be taxed and everybody had to go to their hometown.

"All the circumstances that brought that about, God said 700 years before, 'That's where He's going to be born.' How'd He know that? Because He planned it that way and brought it to pass exactly that way," explains Richard Jordan.

"Now, what's the possibility that one man born in Bethlehem is going to match all the things that were said--He's a king, He's going to be the judge, His going forth is from old, from everlasting, He's bigger than human.

"When you work those things out, and you only have to have 48 of them and you get to a place where you have a number that's 10 to the 157th power. The reason that's important is because according to Micheler and Stone, that's more than three times the total number of electrons in the known universe.

"An atom has electrons, protons and neutrons. According to these guys, they say 10 to the 52nd power is the number of atoms in the universe. If that's true and the probability of one man fulfilling those 48 things, and by the way, there are some 300 prophecies that are fulfilled in the coming of Christ and you go, 'Wow.'

"What you have there is a demonstration that evolution is not science; it's a religion. It's outside of the realm of any kind of logic that the evidence would produce, so it's outside of science and nature to deny the creation.

"That creation came about as a result of a supernatural action by a supreme intelligence who's self-existent and who has revealed Himself in a Book that proves itself to be the Word of the Creator.

"I recall as a young believer a book called Evidence That Demands a Verdict and it went through the historic evidences for the resurrection. I never really thought about it, but when I read through the historical evidence of it, that verse in Acts 1: [3] To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God . . .

"You know the impact it has on your faith when you realize your faith is not simply in some doctrine, in some ideas, some philosophies, but it's really based in historically demonstrable evidence? All the things that people say they want out of science is actually historically validated.

"When you look at your Bible and the only source of origin in the Bible is God Himself. Zechariah 12 starts with that.

Zechariah 12:10: [10] And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

"When He says ' they shall look upon me whom they've pierced,' every verse from 1 to there describes the speaker as being Jehovah. So, when Jesus Christ dies on the Cross, Jehovah says, 'They shall look upon me whom they've pierced.' Now, they pierced Him at Calvary.

Zechariah 13:6: [6] And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.

"When that takes place, you look at Revelation 1:7, talking about the Second Coming of Christ: [7] Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

"So, when Zechariah 12:10 takes place is at the Second Advent. He comes back and Israel, when they see Him, they will mourn.

"Everybody on the earth is going to wail because He's bringing judgment, but Israel's going to mourn. The Believing Remnant in Israel will mourn. They'll do what they did in Acts 2. They'll say, 'What shall we do?'' They were pricked in their heart:

[36] Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
[37] Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
[38] Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

"The one they're going to see, The Lord Jesus Christ, Zechariah 12:10 says, 'That's Jehovah God of the Old Testament.' "
