"Satan knew Israel was going to be in Egypt for 400 years and then take over the land of Canaan; that gave him 400 years to set the booby traps in the land," explains Richard Jordan. "For those 400 years, Satan put a series of nations, seven of them according to Deuteronomy 7, in the land of Canaan. They're called the 'sons of Belial.' He put them in that land to dig down the munitions so they couldn't be blasted out.
"God told Israel in Joshua and Judges to go in and destroy those seven nations and not to leave any of them. People say, 'Well, that's terrible of God to tell them to go wipe out a people, destroying their little children,' but they were a satanic seed; they were the seed of the devil.
"Israel didn't destroy them and, you know what, the territory those seven nations occupied in the Book of Joshua is still in conflict today.
"The reason that symbol of Islam is the crescent moon is because Mohammed took the moon god and made it the one god. He destroyed polytheism with monotheism, the false god. That's why it conquers with the sword.
"Israel, instead of destroying all that territory, let it go. They failed. That conflict goes all through your Bible.
"It's why all the demons were in the land during the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ. Satan had called all of his hordes in. That demoniac of Gadara, that was a special place of darkness in the land, up there in that northern recess of the land of Galilee. A place where Satan had a special stronghold.
"There were so many devils in the land of Israel at that time that there weren't enough Israelites to occupy one on one, so the guy had as many as 2,000 demons in him--just one guy.
"Satan had gotten his host there because the kingdom of Satan, Matthew 12 says, had come in conflict with the kingdom of God and the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. Isn't that what you do when your enemy attacks and you know where he's going to attack?
"Vince Lombardi used to say, 'I don't care if the other team knows our plays; if we're good enough we can go out and do it anyway.' God lets Satan know all these plans He had ahead of time and Satan fortified his spiritual possession so that the nation Israel could not be spiritually a people God could use to restore His headship in Planet Earth.
"Fast-forward to Revelation 12: [7] And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
[8] And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.[9] And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
"Satan is cast out of heaven and all of his angels, all of his spiritual beings that are involved in his cohort kingdom up there, are cast down to the earth.
"Verse 12 to the end of the chapter: [12] Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
[13] And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.[14] And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
[15] And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
[16] And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
[17] And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
"Right down to the end is the conflict between Satan and Israel and that conflict is carried on through nations on the earth.
"Revelation 17: [9] And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
[10] And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.[11] And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
"The point to get there is that there's seven kingdoms. They start way back in the Old Testament. Daniel tells you about those seven kings, gives you the history of it. Revelation says that what's happening over here in the last days with the Antichrist is the conclusion of all the stuff that started back there.
"Verse 12 to the end of the chapter: [12] And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
[13] These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.[14] These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
[15] And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
[16] And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
[17] For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
[18] And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
"Notice, we're talking about the conflict between nations and peoples in the earth. But it's all instigated by these spiritual creatures in the angelic realm that come down and operate through these nations.
"There's a connection all through prophecy between the activities in the spirit world and what goes on in the conflict of the nations on this earth.
"That Antichrist kingdom, in Isaiah 10 and Micah 5, is called the Assyrian and all those seven mountains, those seven kingdoms, they're all behind the scenes, run by this character called the Assyrian.
"That's the territory of modern-day Iraq and Syria. The final climactic stages of human history and the conflict of the ages take place is going to be right there.
"I'm just trying to make you aware there's a war out there. When you see this physical stuff, and you think its Democrats vs. Republicans, and you think it's just all this stuff you see in the media with economic gains and political diplomacy, etc., I want to disabuse you of that idea so you understand the conflict is something far more important; far, far bigger."
