No. 13 goes as deep as you want to follow

On this, the 103rd day of the year: The slogan, "Don't tread on me," has 13 letters. "E pluribus Unum" has 13 letters. There were 13 original colonies. Thirteen stars and 13 stripes were in the original U.S. flag. The confederate flag had on it a cross with 13 stars.

"Eighty-five percent of the 13s in the Bible have something to do with something negative and that's the largest percentage of any of the numbers in the Bible that have meanings associated with them," says Richard Jordan.

"The first time it occurs in the Bible is in Genesis 14 and this sets the meaning of the number for you. Genesis 14:4: [4] Twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled.

"Consistently in Scripture, 13 is associated with rebellion. Genesis 10:6 says, [6] And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan. Studying Ruth, I showed you the 10th men in the genealogy of Christ and the first tenth man is Noah.

"Well, if Noah is 10, then Ham would be 11 and Cush would be 12. Cush begat Nimrod, the 13th from Adam, who is a type of the Antichrist in the Bible. Nimrod leads the rebellion at the Tower of Babel against God.

"Genesis 13:13: [13] But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.

"There is the rebellion of Lot, when he pitched his tent toward Sodom. He was pitching his tent, not toward godliness, but toward rebellion, excessive wickedness and sinfulness.

"When you see the identification of the one who's going to betray the Lord Jesus Christ, it's in John 13:26 and 26 is two times 13.

"If you look back at verse 13 of John 13: [13] Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. Who would have called Him 'master'? There's the rebellious one. The rest of them called Him Lord. By the way, if you count the words in that verse, there's 13.

"How many books are there in the Old Testament? 39 is three times 13. Do you know what the last word is in the Old Testament? Curse.

"Galatians 3:13: [13] Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That's what the law does. It curses you.

"Acts 13:39: [39] And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

"Here is Christ redeeming us from the curse of the law that Moses couldn't redeem you from. So you get the associations with 13 and the curse of the law.

"Jesus lists 13 things in Mark 7 that defile a man: [20] And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. [21] For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, [22] Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

"Proverbs says 'out of the heart are the issues of life.' The things that come out of the heart of man are evil things. It's interesting that Christ lists 13 things. That's not everything, but that's 13 of them that indicate what defiles a man.

"Proverbs 13:13: [13] Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded. If you're attitude toward the Word of God is to despise it, you got trouble coming.

"Isaiah 41:26: [26] Who hath declared from the beginning, that we may know? and beforetime, that we may say, He is righteous? yea, there is none that sheweth, yea, there is none that declareth, yea, there is none that heareth your words.

"If you want to know where rebellion in Israel really began, it was in rebelling against God's Word. If you count the words in that verse there are 39 (three times 13).

"A lot of times these things are hidden below the surface, not just right on the surface, but it will go down as deep as you want to follow it in the text.

"Revelation 17:5: [5] And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

"Here's the ultimate culmination of what Nimrod started back in Genesis 10. Here's the name of this great whore that sitteth upon many waters and rules over the kings of the earth; the woman who corrupts the nations.

"If you count the words in that name there's 13. Come to Revelation 2:13 and you'll see her activities: [13] I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

"In the 70th Week of Daniel it will be one of the seats where Satan functions from.

"In Esther 3, when Haman wants the Jews killed and gets the plot to do it, look at verse 13: [13] And the letters were sent by posts into all the king's provinces, to destroy, to kill, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, even upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to take the spoil of them for a prey.

"When he wants to kill them, it's going to be on the 13th day of the month and that's recorded in the third chapter, 13th verse.

"If you count down through the list in Romans of the Gentiles who 'did not like to retain God in their knowledge,' the 13th characteristic of that reprobate mind is being 'haters of God.'

"In Numbers 16 there's a rebellion against the authority of Moses and God opens up the earth and destroys the rebels. How many people died in the rebellion? Well, in verse 35, [35] And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.

"First thing you've got is 250 that die in that verse. Then in verse 49: [49] Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah.

"That's 14,950 who died. If you divide 14,950 by 13 you get 1,150. You know how many people died in the rebellion? 13 times 1,150 is 14,950.

Here's a related post:

From Samuel 17, we know David, as a young lad, didn’t just kill the giant Goliath; he killed a bear and a lion.

Jordan explains, “He said, ‘I killed a lion and I killed a bear; now I’ve killed me a giant.’ David’s still learning.

"When I read those verses my mind runs immediately to Daniel 2 and 7, and Hosea 13 and Revelation 13, and all those things associated with the Antichrist and the ultimate manifestation of the satanic policy of evil.

"In Job 38, God starts listing off for Job just some of the animals Job can’t control. Man was designed to have dominion over every creature in the earth and so God, in order to demonstrate things aren’t the way they’re supposed to be, starts asking Job, 'Can you control the lion? How about the raven?'

"There’s also the wild goats, calves, wild asses, unicorns, hawks, eagles, on and on. If you count down from chapter 38:39 all the way down to Job 40:15, the behemoth is the 13th animal listed in this passage.

“He’s Mister 13. It’s the number of rebellion. This is not a good guy here. By the way, you can read about him in Revelation 13.

“The word behemoth is a Hebrew word. It’s not translated; it’s just transliterated into the English language. The word is literally the plural form for the Hebrew word ‘beast.’

"Well, that’s not hard to understand because, in Revelation 13:1-2, when it describes the Antichrist, it says he has the body of a leopard, the mouth of a lion and the feet of a bear. The Antichrist is a composite beast. He’s identified that way in Hosea 13, for example."

*****

"The first mention of 'leviathan' is in Job 41:1. He’s later identified in Isaiah 27 as Satan. So what you’re dealing with here is the Antichrist and the power behind him— Satan.

"The reason God is doing that with Job is because, if you start in 40: 6-14, in essence, what the Lord says to Job is, ‘Here’s what it’s going to take for you to deliver yourself out of satanic captivity.’

“God says, ‘Let’s look at your adversary,’ and Job looks at the behemoth, then looks at leviathan. They’re the real enemy that held Job in satanic captivity and the captivity is not going to be over with until these two characters are dealt with in the last days.

“Everything in Job 40 has tremendously significant things to it. If the ‘behemoth eateth grass as an ox,’ you have two horns like that.

“That serpent that stood there in front of Eve was not a legless little scaled snake hanging on the ground. The serpent was a beautiful, handsome, adorned angel of light whose character was that of a serpent.

“Satan was ‘more subtle than any beast in the field’ because in his essence he’s a cherub and a cherub in Ezekiel 1 is identified as the ox.

"So, when it says ‘he eats grass as an ox,’ it’s something about the essence of who he is. It says, ‘Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.
[17] He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.
[18] His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.’

“By the way, his belly (Rev. 3)—he’s got the body of a leopard. His bones are like bars of iron. Genesis 4, in describing the course of this world under satanic dominion, is where the iron first shows up in Bible. Iron was an invention for use as part of the course of this world.

"Deuteronomy 3:11 says, 'For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.'

“Where’d the giants come from? Genesis 6. Angels mingled with the seed of man. That’s what we read there in Daniel 2. It’s pointing you back to Genesis 6 as to the origin of these 10 kings.

“The guy’s got a bed that’s 12-feet-by-6-feet. He’s a big dude because he’s one of the giants. But he’s one of those remnant of those giants that came from the ‘sons of God’ coming down and cohabitating with ‘the daughters of men.’

“In Deuteronomy 4:10 you’ll see the reference is to ‘the iron furnace even out of Egypt.’ Egypt is where Israel was held in satanic captivity.

"My point is iron in the Bible is associated with satanic activity, and in Daniel 2 when he talks about how ‘they mingle themselves with the seed of man,’ there’s an issue there about demons and man and producing a seed and these demons coming in and taking on to themselves a human identity.

“Now, if you take on yourself a human identity as in Genesis 6, then you go to Revelation 17 and these demonic creatures—these fallen spirits who’ve taken on a human vessel of identity . . . when it says ‘they will eat the flesh of the woman,’ the woman is guilty of the blood of the servants of Jesus.”
