Ironically, I was putting together article late last evening about power in God's Word and the power went out! It was 1:30 a.m. and we didn't get it back until 9 a.m. this morning.
Right now my mom is making a fire in the fireplace since I have the day off and we are going to have our St. Patty's Day meal a day early. She is 1/2 Scotch-Irish, making me 1/4 Scotch-Irish. I am 1/2 Norwegian and everybody knows how the Vikings invaded Scotland.
Anyway, we are having corned beef and colcannon, which is a mashed potato dish with shredded cabbage and green onion. We didn't get soda bread this year, but we are having cheddar-onion foccacia instead.
