Amos 1: [6] Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom:
"Gaza is the most prominent city in Philistina; it's the great merchant center. He's just going to deport them, wipe them out.
[7] But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof:
[8] And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD.
"Do you remember who Ashdod is? If you write down I Samuel 5 by that, you remember when the Philistines came in and took the ark of the covenant and brought it to the house of their god Dagon, the fish god?
"If you want to see the fish god's hat, get a picture of the pope. I Samuel 5, they took the ark into the house of Dagon and sat it there and left it there. The next morning the image of Dagon fell over frontward and fell apart.
"When He says, 'I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod,' listen, again we're talking about how He's pouring out wrath--these are not just innocent people standing around minding their own business.
"These are people gripped in spiritual darkness, and not just ignorance, but in absolute complete rebellion and hatred for God. They're a part of the satanic program to destroy what God's doing. They're the ones who are making Israel prisoners, sick, afflicted, hungry, naked and so forth.
[9] Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Tyrus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant:
[10] But I will send a fire on the wall of Tyrus, which shall devour the palaces thereof.
Go back to I Kings 5:1: [1] And Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants unto Solomon; for he had heard that they had anointed him king in the room of his father: for Hiram was ever a lover of David.
"Hiram loved Israel; he blessed them and gave them provision and David and Solomon made a covenant with Hiram that Israel and Tyre would never fight. As long as David and Solomon were there there was never war between them.
"Now, subsequent to that, all that's gone by the wayside. Now Tyre, they don't just war, they deliver up Israel captive to their enemies. They don't remember what their ancestors had done and what they knew. They just sell Israel into slavery.
"Tyre and Zidon are the two great cities of Phoenicia. You remember Ahab and Jezebel? Jezebel was the daughter of Ethbaal, the prince of Baal of the Zidonians. She imported Baal worship from Zidon into Israel and made it the official state religion of Israel. There's the Antichrist; that's his church.
"What's happened here is the transgressions of the Gentiles have come to an end here; they've come to the place where God's no longer patient with them.
[11] Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever:
"That continuous, unabated hatred that Edom had. That's why Malachi says, 'Jacob have I loved and Esau have I hated.' He's not talking about the boys but the nations that came from them.
[12] But I will send a fire upon Teman, which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.
"Teman and Bozrah are down south of the Dead Sea and it's the territory today of southern Jordan. In Isaiah 34, when Christ comes back in flaming fire taking vengeance and pouring that fire out, it says He sets the pitch in the ground on fire.
"That's where He burns the earth open down into the lowest hell and that's literally where that shaft goes down into hell and where the people in millennium can look into hell. That's in this territory.
[13] Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border:
"Ammon is east of the Jordan River but it's north of the Dead Sea. You remember where the Ammonites came from? After Lot escaped Sodom his wife turned to a pillar of salt and he had two daughters. They wind up in a cave in the mountains and his daughters get their daddy drunk and they have sexual relationships with their daddy (incest) and each one of them has a kid. Ammon is the son of Lot through incest.
"Moab is Lot's other daughter's kid. All these people become enemies of Israel and they're all right there in the land of Palestine.
"I read that stuff in verse 13 and I think, 'You look what's going on over there today and they're beheading people.' With Isis they were capturing the men and taking the women off. That ain't nothing new.
"The culture that the Muslims over there follow comes out of the 7th and 8th century and that's where the barbarism that you see perpetrated comes out of. What they did in the 7th century A.D. they were doing in the 7th century B.C., which is where this is, enlarging their borders.
[15] And their king shall go into captivity, he and his princes together, saith the LORD.
"When you read about a whirlwind in the Bible you're reading about a picture of God in His day of battle. That's why Job 37-38 is put together there. It's the Second Advent, which is what's going on here."
