Mysticism's origins in ancient world

Jude 1: [13] Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

[14] And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
[15] To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Jude identifies Enoch this way so you know he's not the Enoch who is the offspring of Cain. This is the one later on who's the ancestor of Noah; he's the one in Genesis 5, explains Richard Jordan.

When it says Enoch "prophesied of these, saying," none of that's found back in Genesis 5. You didn't know what Enoch preached back there until you got to Jude to find it.

So you went from the first book of the Bible all the way to the next to the last book of the Bible before you found out what Enoch preached. That's fascinating.

There is a piece of literature called the Book of Enoch, and on the basis of this passage in Jude, they say there was an ancient Hebrew book Jude's quoting, but Jude isn't quoting any book. What the verse said is Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied these things and then Jude wrote it down, which is the issue of subsequent narrative.

According to Wikipedia, "The book of Enoch plays an important role in the history of Jewish mysticism":

"The introduction to the book of Enoch tells us that Enoch is 'a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come.'

"The first section of the book depicts the interaction of the fallen angels with mankind; Sêmîazâz compels the other 199 fallen angels to take human wives to 'beget us children'. This results in the creation of the Nephilim (Genesis) or Anakim / Anak (giants) as they are described in the book:

"This results in the creation of the Nephilim (Genesis) or Anakim / Anak (giants) as they are described in the book:

And they became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three hundred ells:[h] Who consumed all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against them and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish, and to devour one another's flesh, and drink the blood.

"It also discusses the teaching of humans by the fallen angels, chiefly Azâzêl:

And Azâzêl taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals of the earth and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all colouring tinctures. And there arose much godlessness, and they committed fornication, and they were led astray, and became corrupt in all their ways. Semjâzâ taught enchantments, and root-cuttings, Armârôs the resolving of enchantments, Barâqîjâl, taught astrology, Kôkabêl the constellations, Ezêqêêl the knowledge of the clouds, Araqiêl the signs of the earth, Shamsiêl the signs of the sun, and Sariêl the course of the moon.

New World Order religions such as the Freemasons, Theosophists, Kabbalahists, etc., are said to believe God created Adam double-faced and split him to make him of two backs, depicted facing one another.

"They take Genesis 1:27 ([27] So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them) and try to change the meaning of the word 'them' to make it singular," explains an expert on ancient Jewish Kabbalah mysticism teachings. "Obviously, it means 'one male, one female', but they say Adam was created male and female.

"He created Adam as a lifeless mass extending from one end of the world to the other; He created him filling the whole world. That's the 'cosmic androgyne.' It's like the Force in Star Wars. The entire universe is an androgyne and we're all androgynes, too, we just don't know it.

"This is why mass media tells us we're gender-neutral and we're all on a gender spectrum. It's straight out of rabbinical commentaries; the oral traditions of the rabbis from ancient Babylonian mysticism.

"Nimrod didn't invent it either; it goes back to the ancient world. I personally believe it came from the pre-Flood Nephilim. This is what the fallen angels were teaching people back then to try and wipe us all out.

"The midrash says the Holy One created Adam a hermaphrodite, a bisexual. They say that according to Jeremiah's opinion, Adam had both sexes and thus is a real hermaphrodite in the old mythical sense. It's identical with the conception of Hermes, in which he is understood to be the Logos, Alethinos. This is what Plato taught."

A reminder:

"There's a connection all through prophecy between the activities in the spirit world and what goes on in the conflict of the nations on this earth," says Jordan. "I'm just trying to make you aware there's a war out there.

"When you see this physical stuff, and you think its Democrats vs. Republicans, and you think it's just all this stuff you see in the media with economic gains and political diplomacy, etc., I want to disabuse you of that idea so you understand the conflict is something far more important; far, far bigger."

"Behind the scenes of world affairs, behind the scenes of the conflicts of nations on this earth, there's a spiritual conflict going on that's reflected in the angelic realm. What's happening as the nations of this earth work their wiles, it's an outworking of something more than just the animus between one nation and another."
