Baby dedication just the modern form . . .

Deuteronomy 18: [9] When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

[10] There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
[11] Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

"What's happened with Israel is they've been completely permeated with all this vain religious system," explains Richard Jordan. "Those things that he describes there are the tools the satanic policy of evil uses to corrupt the nation Israel. There's a spiritual warfare going on against Israel and it's focused on making your son or your daughter pass through the fire.

"You know, I've said to you for decades that Christendom is just a bastardized form of Judaism and most of what you see happening in Christendom is just a carryover from something back in Judaism.

"Someone asked me, 'Do you guys dedicate babies?'  I was raised in a denomination where you christened the baby and had godparents and that kind of stuff. Baby dedication is the modern form of causing your son or daughter to pass through the fire. They're dedicating the baby to Moloch.

"It's staggering when you read through these things and see how this stuff had completely taken over Israel. Here they have the Creator, the God of heaven and earth, they have His Word directly from Him, and yet they've gone after all this.

"They had what James calls 'pure religion.' God only gave one religion in all of human history, gave it to the nation Israel through the hand of Moses, and it was pure, it was right, but they preferred all the other religions of the world.

Isaiah 8:19: [19] And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?

"This is the northern kingdom here and they say, 'We need to find out from God; seek to them that have familiar spirits.' I love that--they peep and mutter. You ever hear anybody talk in tongues? Think about that.

"Micah 5 ends with, [12] And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers:

[13] Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands.
[14] And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee: so will I destroy thy cities.
[15] And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard.

"Notice, all these things have taken over--it's everywhere in the nation Israel and those are the things, that when you come to Ezekiel, that's the background of what he's talking about here. All those false teachers, all those people using lying divinations.

"II Thessalonians talks about the Antichrist and the 'lying wonders.' In other words, there are apparent supernatural things but they teach the lie."
