Christ's scorched-earth policy

Psalm 68, a psalm about the Second Coming, says: [4] Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.

"Notice, here's God riding on the heavens. You want to see Him do what Deuteronomy talks about? This psalm tells you about it.

Verse 16: [16] Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever.

"What hill is that? Where's the Lord going to dwell forever on the earth? Mount Zion's a part of Jerusalem. This is the place.

Verse 17: [17] The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

"This army of mighty ones that's coming is an army of angels; coming with Him to execute His wrath. Part of the reason it's an angelic army is that first it's got to get rid of all the satanic angelic forces; corral them up and throw them into darkness.

"When He comes to earth, they're going to continue to do that because they're all down here. You remember the Maniac of Gadara, how he's in the tombs cutting himself? Jesus asks his name and he says, 'I'm Legion.' A Roman legion, they say, was 2,000 soldiers. Why would one guy have 2,000 devils in him?!

"Satan got his army in place and occupied the land of Israel with its people. Satan made Israel his captive so they couldn't be used by God. There were more demons in the land than there were Jews so that Jew had that many more demons in him.

"By the way, when the demons are cast out, where do they go? They went into the pigs and the pigs ran down into the water. People say, 'What, God doesn't like pigs?'

"If you go back to Isaiah 65 and 66, you'll discover that part of the Baal worship and the pagan religion that Israel was involved in, swine were a part of the worship. That guy was not some psychopath with a cutting fetish; he was out there worshipping his god.

"They go into the pigs and they take the symbols of their religion down into the pit, which is exactly what Jesus does with Satan and the Antichrist. He throws them down into darkness.

Joel 3: [12] Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.

"The valley of Jehoshaphat is where God worked a miracle to destroy the Gentiles who came up against Israel and He did it without Israel lifting one finger.

"When the armies of Israel stood up there, He put the singers out front. He put the choir out front and the soldiers in the back. He said, 'Go out there and sing praises to the Lord. Sing about the mighty deliverance God's given us; show how much you trust Him.'

"What He's telling these Gentiles is, 'Come on up here to this place where I'm going to clean your plow and watch me do it. We're going to have the judgment of the nations and I'm fixing to take care of this thing.'

[13] Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.

"The harvest is the harvest of the wrath of God; it's the winepress of His wrath. The wrath is just overflowing in all of this.

"John picks that up in Revelation 14 when he has this vision of what's going to take place at the battle of Armageddon:

[14] And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

"All these nations of the earth are going to be cut down.

[15] And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
[16] And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
[17] And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
[18] And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
[19] And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

[20] And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs. 

"There are two harvests there. One is the harvest of the earth and the other is the harvest of the vine of the earth.

"When he says in Joel, 'Thrust in the sickle,' he's talking about that judgment in Revelation 14 that results in this complete destruction of the Gentile nations that come against Christ and the satanic policy of evil that they have been deceived by.

"If you want to understand what that vine of the earth is you go back to Deuteronomy 32 when it shows up as the vine that's infesting Israel with false doctrine; Baal worship.

Isaiah 63: [1] Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.

[2] Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?
[3] I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
[4] For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.
[5] And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
[6] And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.

"That's the Second Coming. There's a slaughter all through that route of His advent where He's destroying His enemies. He's going to have an air campaign. You can do all the damage you need to do with an air campaign. We dropped two bombs on Japan that stopped the whole war.

"This is going to be scorched-earth policy where the Lord Jesus Christ comes back and personally takes vengeance and He's reaping the harvest of the earth. He's coming to deliver Israel and then to destroy all their enemies and they're reaping what they've sowed."
