News brief: ALMATY, Sept 16, 2022 (Reuters) - Kazakhstan's parliament renamed the Central Asian nation's capital from Nur-Sultan to Astana on Friday, the latest move by government officials and politicians to distance themselves from the former Soviet republic's first president.
Astana is an anagram of Satana, which is Satan in Italian or SatanĂ¡s in Spanish.
"Billions of petrodollars have since turned the current capital, which was also known as Tselinograd in the Soviet era, into a glitzy metropolis."
According to Wikipedia, "Baiterek Tower is a 105m tall structure in Astana that rises from a wide flat base within a raised plaza. It consists of a narrow cylindrical shaft, surrounded by white branch-like girders that flare out near the top, supporting a gold-mirrored 22m diameter sphere.
"The base contains a ticket booth and exhibition space, with two lifts rising within the shaft to the observation deck within the 'egg'. Entrances to the monument are sunk below eye level, reached by stairs from the surrounding plaza.
"The observation deck is 97m above ground level. It consists of two levels, one with 360 degree views of Astana and beyond, with a second, higher level, reached by a flight of stairs.
"The top level features a gilded hand print of the right hand of Nursultan Nazarbayev, the first President of independent Kazakhstan, mounted in an ornate pedestal.[4]
"A plaque invites visitors to place a hand in the imprint and make a wish. Alongside the handprint, and also oriented in the direction of the presidential palace, is a wooden sculpture of a globe and 16 radiating segments, commemorating the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, held several times in Astana."

Genesis 11:4: [4] And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
"Cain built a city in rebellion against God's purpose and named it after his son as a monument to his own rebellion.
"What did God tell Noah's boys to do? Scatter. So what did they do? 'We're going to gather.' They're going to build 'a city and a tower whose top may reach unto heaven.'
"The tower is a reference to religion; it's a reference to having a strong and mighty tower. It's a religious issue and that's why it says, 'Whose top may reach unto heaven.'
"He's not talking about building a structure that's going to go into outer space. 'We're going to build us a high place and up on top of that high place we're going to do some things that will let us control the heavens.'
"What did God tell Noah and his boys to do? Replenish the earth. I mean, this guy's got it all backwards. This is the act of a vain religious system. The vanity of their minds, the pride of their hearts to make themselves God.
" 'And let us make us a name.' In other words, it's the pride of the vanity of their mind seeking to be their own god. So they're going to build this tower, this structure.
Verse 9: [9] Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
"The name Babel means confusion and it's where the languages are confused. Now, things in Genesis have a conclusion in Revelation. Babylon starts in Genesis and concludes in Revelation. What started back there with Nimrod ultimately becomes the religion of the church of the Antichrist. It's literally the worship of Satan.
"This is not the same as when they say they have a satanist church, because if you're speaking lies in hypocrisy and you say you're the church of Satan, what would that mean? NOT. Because you're being a hypocrite. That's just a bunch of little kiddies out there not knowing what they're doing.
Revelation 17: [1] And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
[2] With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication."They've been deceived. They're in a drunken stupor; they've been desensitized to the things of God by what they've learned and imbibed from this woman.
[3] So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
[4] And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
[5] And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
"Here's the ultimate personification of Babylon from Genesis 11. She's not just a harlot herself; she produces offspring that are the same. You just read in Genesis 10 that 'out of his kingdom. Nimrod just filled the earth with this harlot and abominations of the earth.
"By the way there are 13 words in that verse and 65 letters in that verse. 65 is 5 times 13. That's just an interesting thing to notice. That's one of the verses in the Bible that has all cap words and there's some very interesting things involved in that."
