If you take the dispensation of grace out you go right from the little flock in the Gospels and the Pentecost church of Acts into the servants of God in the tribulation and 70th Week.
"If you study the Book of Acts and the Hebrew epistles you'll see that the same spiritual things, conditions and activities that take place with the little flock in Acts match the things taking place with the servants of the Lord over in the tribulation, so you get that connection," explains Jordan.
"John's caught up into 'the last days' and sees 'the day of the Lord,' the 70th week of Daniel, the tribulation and 'the time of Jacob's trouble' that proceeds the 70th Week. He sees all of that in the Book of Revelation and when he does, the Lord tells him, 'Now, write all that down because it's going to be information they're going to need to re-start the prophetic program.'
"Prophecy has been interrupted for more than 2,000 years now. When the dispensation of grace is over and the Body of Christ is called out, and there are no saints left on the earth, how do you then re-start the prophetic program?
"Well, how did He begin the dispensation of grace? Paul says, 'I was born out of due time.' Christ saves Saul of Tarsus in a direct intervention to kick off a new program. He's going to do the same thing after the dispensation of grace is over.
"What the 12 apostles were in the Gospels, the 144,000 will be over in Revelation. What the little flock was, the Believing Remnant making up the 144,000 will be in the tribulation period. Those servants of God show up prior to the beginning of the 70th Week, which doesn't begin until Revelation 6.
"What you have in Revelation 2-3 are these assemblies, the little flock that will go through all that. That's why He gives them instructions about the problems they're going to face. There are seven churches and there are seven reprimands or rebukes: 'Here are the problems you guys are going to face as the opposition (apostate Israel and the Antichrist) seek to seduce you away from the truth.'
"That's why you have a book like I John that says, 'Here are the tests where you can know whether someone is in the true fellowship or the false fellowship.' Because they're all going to claim to be Israel, God's people. That's why he says in chapter 2, 'You've tried those who claim to be Jews and aren't. You're able to discern that.'
"Each time John writes about a problem in Revelation, it goes back into Israel's history and picks up a historical account and event that illustrates how they've had that problem before and how they now need to handle it.
"He also then, when he talks about the reward they get for overcoming, reaches back into Israel's history and takes a place where they were overcomers and demonstrates how that reward's going to look.
*****
"Israel's history is a loop. When they talk about 'the last days,' it generally goes back into time past and takes a place where something's been rehearsed. Israel's history was a grand rehearsal for those final events.
"In Revelation 2, the first overcomer, they're taken back to the Garden of Eden and they get the right to the Tree of Life in the garden. The next one is they are not overcome by the second death. In Revelation 2:17, the third reward is the hidden manna, the white stone and the new name written.
"The hidden manna is in Exodus. God fed Israel with manna in the wilderness. Revelation 12 says He's going to feed that little flock out in the wilderness in the last half of the 70th Week with manna. In fact, the minor prophets actually tell them where to go to find it; it's going to be preserved for them.
"The white stone. The priests had the breastplate. It has to do with the priesthood. The new name. There are verses about God giving them a new identity; that nation that brings forth the fruit thereof. They're going to be that born again new nation. Not another nation, but Israel renewed. Just like He's going to have a new heaven and a new earth.
"Revelation 3:5: [5] He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
"There's going to be a coronation of the Lord Jesus Christ when He comes back and sets up His kingdom, and when He does, He's going to recommend to His Father some people to serve in His kingdom."
