Akron spawns 6' 8" Power forward Satanist

I was in my car returning from the gym when Akron’s classic rock station (WONE 97.5) suddenly broke its programming to announce LeBron James had signed a deal to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers. It was like the whole city had just learned it had won the super lotto. With my windows rolled down on what was a perfect July afternoon in 2014, I could hear cars honking off in the distance.

The funniest site for me was seeing a man standing at the street curb outside his house, waving at passersby with several colored balloons in his hand. Next to him was a large handwritten sign that read, “WELCOME HOME LEBRON! GARAGE SALE.” Sure enough, his garage door was open and bicycles and assorted furniture items had already been pulled out onto the driveway. He had the biggest grin on his face, as did I. The collective feeling for my hometown’s No. 1 hero, recognized at the time as the greatest basketball player in the world, was unadulterated euphoria.

Fast-forward to last month. I saw an image of LeBron on some internet news site giving the ever-popular Illuminati pyramid hand sign. I remember thinking, “What?! I thought he was a Christian!”

Upon investigation via Google, up popped multiple You Tube videos showing LeBron’s personal satanic pre-game ritual in which he makes the Freemason triangle with his hands, quickly followed by the 666 “okay” signal with his fingers, then fist-pumps to his chest and a weird swirling motion with his arms, said to be a “welcoming in” or invoking of evil spirits. All of this is done courtside while the National Anthem finishes being sung! Yikes! So much for "King James"--YUK!

Of course, once you start looking for something, you see it everywhere. In making reference to the popular use of the circle with the pentagram star in it, Richard Jordan (shorewoodbiblechurch.org) said in a recent sermon, “In Amos 5, you see the star Israel carried around; you call it the ‘Star of David,’ but the Bible calls it the ‘Star of Molech.’

“That star is really two triangles put together and it makes six points. There’s six triangles and six sides. One triangle points to heaven and the other to earth. It’s a symbol of heaven penetrating the earth.

“What are stars in the Bible? Pictures of angels. Revelation 1 and 9 and Job 38. In the Bible, the Star of David has never been the symbol of Israel; it’s a satanically inspired symbol. The symbol in the Bible is the burning bush (Malachi 3:6). They’re burned but not consumed.

“Go see how many places you find that (Molech) symbol. Go find the numerology associated with that symbol and you’ll go, ‘Woah!’ The only place you’re going to find the key to it, by the way, is in a King James Bible.

“Your Bible is the only authoritative key to the symbols, the types, the allegories and the pictures that the culture uses to hide its purpose.

“What (the Mother of Harlots from Revelation) is offering you is this insider wisdom of understanding: ‘I can look at the star and figure out what it all is.’

“People think, ‘I can know the thing God’s trying to keep from me,’ when the reality is God isn’t trying to keep ANYTHING from you! He wrote it all in a Book for you! But when you’re always thinking there’s this secret thing behind—that conspiratorial thing that’s back behind. Why, folks, the Bible is full of that guy’s (Satan) conspiracies."
