On the shoulders of giants

Here’s a good Bible trivia question: When Jesus Christ descended into the paradise side of hell for those three days between His death and resurrection, what did He do there?

I Peter 3:19-20 says “he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
[20] Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

Basically, Christ preached to those same disobedient angels from Noah’s day who impregnated human females with giant offspring and have since been held in chains of darkness (II Peter 2:4).

Jordan explains, “What must first be understood is that in any New Testament scripture, the word ‘spirit,’ when it’s a reference to a creature and not to our human makeup (of spirit, soul and body), it’s a reference to a demon or devil, except in Hebrews 12 when the writer talks about ‘the spirits of just men made perfect,’ which is a reference to angelic creatures.”

As Jude 6-7 further instructs, “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
[7] Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.”

Jordan says, “You see how the bringing in of the Flood is connected with the angels that sinned? It wasn’t just a judgment on natural man’s ungodliness; it was a judgment upon the angelic ungodliness also.

“What Peter’s doing is talking to some people out in the future who are going to face the same kinds of things the people faced back in Noah’s day.

“The origin of it was back there before the Flood and the culmination of it is future in the tribulation period. And just like Christ had a witness through Noah, ‘a preacher of righteousness,’ the Believing remnant in Israel is going to be witnessing over there.

“In Daniel 2, you’re going to discover that all this stuff going on with the giants is directly connected and associated with what the Antichrist is going to be doing!

“The image Nebuchadnezzar saw had five parts to it. The head of gold is Babylon and ‘as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
[43] And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.’

Jordan explains, “If you mingle yourself with the seed of men, the implication is you aren’t one of the seed of men. You are from a different source. When we read about the giant Og and he had that big bed, do you remember what it was made out of? Iron.

“When we read about Goliath, do you remember the iron in his armament? In the Bible, iron and clay have a very specific connection and one is with the giants.

“With the satanic activity that resulted in the giants, the iron and clay was something very important in connection with man.

“When you study the career of the Antichrist, were not just talking about world leaders at the United Nations. We’re talking about some stuff that, if you get to thinking about it long enough, it will scare the bejeebers out of you. All of a sudden, people see demons behind every rock, and that isn’t what’s happening today, but there’s sure gonna be some of that stuff happening in the future!”

What’s ever-fascinating is the picture-type presented in Nimrod, who we learn from Genesis is related to the giant offspring produced by the demons!

First, in Genesis 6:4, it says, “There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. was one of the mighty men which were of old, men of renown.”

Then, in Genesis 10, we’re told “And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
[9] He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.”
Jordan explains, “What did it say about Nimrod? He was a mighty what? Hunter. He said, ‘Don’t worry about it. I’ll take care of everything; you don’t have to go scatter and hunt for your dinner like God said.’
“Everything Nimrod’s doing is in rebellion to God, and in what begins in Babylon, the plain of Shinar where Nebby shows up later on, is the setting for the inception of Baal worship (the Antichrist’s religion) and the people turning into ‘the heathen.’

“It says Nimrod BEGAN to be one of these mighty men, men of renown. When you were born, somewhere after you were maybe 20-25 years old, did you just begin to be human?

“I read over that verse for years and never thought much about it, but then I got thinking about it.

“It’s like Nimrod had been living along here and all of a sudden something clicked. There’s a catalyst. There was some gene turned on and he BEGAN TO BE. When I read that, I think, ‘These guys had tapped in to an ability to control’ . . . I mean, today we’re just scratching the surface with cloning, genetic engineering and that kind of stuff.

“These guys had tapped into the ability to manipulate and control DNA, the human genome. Did you know that right now the proof as to whether people are criminals or not isn’t so fool-proof anymore? Man’s devious nature is going to take whatever you do and do what? ‘His imagination is only evil continually.’

“This is real important because the men learned some secrets about the spirit world from the angels when they co-habitated with them.

“Nimrod founded Babel and Babel (which is Babylon) was (and will be again) the place of the centralization against the purpose and plan of God. It’s there that they’re going to have the one world language, the one world religion, the one-world government. They’re going to do everything they can to thwart Gods purpose.”
