Iraq always on map

Now that Labor Day is finally here, I get a long-awaited respite from my job. I am putting together an article for tomorrow about "THE UNKNOWN GOD" from Acts 17: [22] Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.

[23] For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.

*****

About a year after the Iraq War began, an anonymous chain e-mail circulated around the nation about out how "no other nation, except Israel, has more history and prophecy associated with it than Iraq."

There were these 19 examples given in the email showing Iraq's tremendous biblical significance:

1. The Garden of Eden was in Iraq.

2. Mesopotamia, which is now Iraq, was the
cradle of civilization!

3. Noah built the ark in Iraq.

4. The Tower of Babel was in Iraq.

5. Abraham was from Ur, which is in
Southern Iraq!

6. Isaac's wife Rebekah is from Nahor,
which is in Iraq.

7. Jacob met Rachel in Iraq.

8. Jonah preached in Nineveh - which
is in Iraq.

9. Assyria, which is in Iraq, conquered
the ten tribes of Israel.

10. Amos cried out in Iraq!

11. Babylon, which is in Iraq, destroyed
Jerusalem.

12. Daniel was in the lion's den in Iraq!

13. The three Hebrew children were
in the fire in Iraq (Jesus had been in
Iraq also as the fourth person in
the fiery furnace!)

14. Belshazzar, the King of Babylon
saw the "writing on the wall" in Iraq.

15. Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon,
carried the Jews captive into Iraq.

16. Ezekiel preached in Iraq.

17. The wise men were from Iraq.

18. Peter preached in Iraq.

19. The "Empire of Man"
described in Revelation is
called Babylon, which was a city in Iraq!

*****

Iraq is second only to the nation of Israel in number of mentions in the Bible, referred to under the names of Babylon, Land of Shinar and Mesopotamia (which literally means "between two rivers"—specifically the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers).

The name Babylon, which originates from the Tower of Babel in Gen. 11, appears 160 times in the Book of Jeremiah alone.

*****

What makes events in Iraq so fascinating is knowing how heavy Babylon plays into future Bible prophecy regarding the "end times" tribulation period and the rise of the Anti-Christ, whose world religious-political empire will be headquartered in Babylon.

In an old study, Alex Kurz talked about how Babylon once again becomes a city of luxury and commercial traffic, as prophesied in Rev. 18.

"This is the economic Babylon," Kurz explained, quoting Rev. 18:2. "It's not the 'Great Whore' of Chapter 17. This is the city of commerce which is located in modern-day Iraq, which makes interesting all of this interest today in making Iraq a democracy.

"Think about what happened to Germany after World War II. It became an economic power in Europe. What happened to Japan after WW II? It became an economic power in the Asia-Pacific region. What might happen in modern day Iraq if it truly becomes a democracy?

"In fact, the purpose is to have a stable economic center in Iraq. Babylon is in Iraq. I'm not saying prophecy's being fulfilled—this all might fall apart and they'll have to start over years from now—but why the interest in Iraq? I just find it highly interesting."

Through New Testament accounts, we know Peter was in Babylon when he wrote I Peter and I Peter is a book aimed at Jewish believers living in the coming Tribulation.

These scattered tribes will be found in Babylon, as Rev. 1 confirms. When Peter and James write to the scattered, they actually identify for the reader the areas involved.
The Book of Revelations instructs the scattered believers to get out of Babylon before the wrath falls. It provides the information for their escape from the horrific effects of the 70th Week of Daniel, which begins with the Anti-Christ signing a covenant with Israel.

******

In his 1989 book, "A Dispensational Synopsis of the New Testament," Bible scholar Charles F. Baker writes of this time period, outlined in Revelations, "Another mighty angel shouts from heaven, 'Babylon the great has fallen.' God's people are warned to come out of her.

"The merchants, ship owners, and the rich lament for her when they see the smoke from her burning. This indicates that Babylon in this chapter (Rev. 18) is viewed more as a commercial center of world trade. The eternal doom of Babylon is announced as an angel takes up a stone like a mighty millstone and casts it into the sea, causing Babylon never to be seen again."

Specifically on Rev. 17, Baker writes, "Babylon is represented as a great prostitute riding on the back of the scarlet-colored Beast, namely, the Anti-Christ world ruler who has a mysterious name written on her forehead: 'MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.' She is the world apostate religious system, drunk with the blood of the martyrs, supported by the Beast during the first half of the Tribulation. Many details about the Beast and the woman will become clear when the fulfillment occurs. The Beast will turn on the woman and destroy her."

Obviously this is all amazing demonstration of God's way of having things come full circle, so to speak.

As Chicago-area preacher Don Cote once assessed, "Around the Babylonian vicinity there's a tripod area that was the very center of the Garden of Eden. Isn't it interesting that (the human race) is going back to that? Abraham and his family—his father, his grandfather—they came up out of Babylon."

Coming soon: 24/7 AI threat detection

“They’re literally now talking about how they’re going to use AI pretty much to monitor everything,” says a YouTuber. “You can’t make this stuff up; it’s plain as day where all of this is heading.”

After the Minnesota Catholic Mass shootings involving school children earlier this week, Aaron Cohen, listed as “Israeli Special Ops Veteran” in his TV appearance on FOX News, said:

“I am now about to begin America’s first ever AI threat detection platform built specifically for law enforcement. It scrapes the internet 24/7 using Israeli-grade ontology to pull specific threat language and then routes it to local law enforcement with a 24/7 detective that never sleeps and it’s going to get us in front of these attacks. I wish my program was already up, but were not launching it until next week. I’ve got a dozen agencies on board.  I just unloaded a major northeast agency with at least 2,700 sworn. This is America’s early warning system.”

The YouTuber goes on: “What’s really strange is that one of the weapons found had "BlackRock" written on it. And just recently Larry Fink (you know, BlackRock) became part of the World Economic Forum. I mean, you can’t make this stuff up. Fink is now the co-chair of the WEF.”

I will post new article tomorrow and in meantime:

Both the sun and moon are vital in masonic rituals. According to Albert G. Mackey’s Encyclopedia of Freemasonry, the moon’s symbol in the masonic system was an analogy to its use in ancient religions.

"The Mason retains the moon in their rites because, as the sun rules over the day, the moon is in charge of the night."

Baal worship goes from Nimrod out future to the Antichrist and one of the things involved in it is what Paul talks about in I Timothy 4: [7] But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.

From the website Universal Co-Masonry:

"The Craft have in both forms of the legend recognized Nimrod as a great Mason, nor have the vituperations of Josephus and the scandalous legends of the orientalists had the slightest effect on their apparent estimation of that mighty monarch, the founder of nations and the builder of cities.

"The universal sentiment of the Masons of the present day is to confer upon Solomon, King of Israel, the honor of being their 'first Grand Master.' But the Legend of the Craft had long before, though there was a tradition of the temple extant, bestowed, at least by implication, that title upon Nimrod, the King of Babylonia and Assyria. It had attributed the first organization of a fraternity of craftsmen to him, in saying that he gave a charge to the workmen whom he sent to assist the King of Nineveh in building his cities.

"That is to say, he framed for them a Constitution, and, in the words of the Legend, 'this was the first time that ever Masons had any charge of his science.' It was the first time that the Craft were organized into a fraternity working under a Constitution or body of laws; and as Nimrod was the autocratic maker of these laws, it results as a necessary consequence, that their first legislator, legislating with dictatorial and unrestricted sovereign power, was also their first Grand Master."

Job 31:26: [26] If I beheld the sun when it shined, or the moon walking in brightness;

[27] And my heart hath been secretly enticed, or my mouth hath kissed my hand:
[28] This also were an iniquity to be punished by the judge: for I should have denied the God that is above.

What's Job talking about? Job, the oldest book in the Bible, and he already knows the power and the influence--how insidious, how cunning the satanic policy of evil . . .

Where's Job from? The Land of Shinar and in his day he sees the prevailing system of sun and moon worship.

Obviously, he can see the sun shining and the moon walking in brightness, a full moon, and "my heart hath been secretly enticed." Enticed to do what? To worship that. You see the power of this system in that region? says Alex Kurz.

People say, "Well, who today worships the sun and the moon and the star?" You better believe this worship goes on. It may not be a direct act before the sun god, but there are subtle ways of worshipping that ultimately is directed to Baal.

We won't call it the s-u-n. We won't call it the moon. What if we just switch names? By the way, at the Tower of Babel all the languages were confounded. Just because over here they call it the sun and the moon--well, over here they call it something else but it's still the principal deity. You see the corrupted master genius of this creature, Mystery Babylon?

II Kings 23:5: [5] And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.

By the way, when you study Baal worship there's always the issue of the high places. What did we read in Genesis 11? A tower whose top may reach unto heaven. This fascination with the high places.

How often, over and over, does God warn Israel and you know what the sad part is? Israel falls victim to all of this.

Jeremiah 8: [1] At that time, saith the LORD, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves:
[2] And they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth.
[3] And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places whither I have driven them, saith the LORD of hosts.

Jeremiah 10: [1] Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:
[2] Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

If you're involved in the astrological, astronomical movements and activities, what would cause a heathen to be dismayed? In the Babylonian tradition--heathenism, paganism--why did they worship the sun, the moon and all?

What type of season might cause a heathen to be dismayed at the sign up there in heaven? Historically, guess what happens when the days are getting shorter and shorter? The heathen says, "Wait a minute, we can't let the sun god die!"

So how do you appease the sun god? Wow, you should learn some things about the Aztecs. Do you know how they would appease the sun god? They would sacrifice their enemies. They would take the heart of the victim and give it to god. Have you ever heard anybody say, "Give your heart to Jesus." Don't give your heart to Jesus; that's what the pagans did.

The pagans will rip your heart out and offer it up to the sun god because "Hey, we want the days to get long again."

Now, how will the heathen react to the shortening of days? Verses 3-5: [3] For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
[4] They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
[5] They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

What heathenistic response happens because they're dismayed by the shortening of the day? A tree, which represents life . . .

We find there are these customs of the heathen to appease and to satisfy; all of the astrological phenomenon going on out there.

What if we moved the moon over and the star over, what do you get? A crescent moon. You see why we're focusing in Revelation 17 on where?

The moon, Ashtaroth, is called the face of Baal; she's called the Lady of Baal. It's fascinating that if we study the Babylonian tradition, their infatuation with sun and moon and the movements, etc.

Listen, there's a symbol today called the crescent of the moon. You've heard of a solar eclipse. That's when the moon eclipses the sun. The moon becomes more important than the sun. You see, she's a mother.

Building a kind of technocrat tyranny

Here are excerpts from a couple of different YouTube podcasts:

This idea Donald Trump agrees with is called “Freedom Cities,” which is also pushed by Peter Theil. It hearkens back to the old days where we had company towns, but it’s like corporate takeover. That’s pretty much where they’re trying to take things.

It’s called the “Theilverse” and they’re vision is for the gov-corp model, which is basically privatized government, but you’re not removing the authoritarian capacity of the state.

You’re basically taking the state and making it a corporation and the CEO runs it like a dictator. There’s been a concerted effort to take policies that people were enraged about that were authoritarian (like during Covid) and sort of rebrand and re-pitch a lot of them as coming from the so-called Libertarian Right, which has been financed by Theil.

Theil is not a Libertarian, even though he has traditionally aligned himself with some Libertarian interests. He used to fund Ron Paul, etc., but now he’s best known for starting Palantir and getting his initial funding for that from the CIA to the tune of $2 million.

The privatization of tyranny is the new scheme that government uses to get away with atrocities and violations of our civil liberties, and of our basic rights, that they couldn’t get away with if it was just the government doing it alone without the merger of corporate power too.

This is taking what’s called the third-party doctrine; the idea that there’s legal precedence to assure that there’s no reasonable expectation of privacy if you shared data with a third party that’s later sold to the government or given to the government.

It’s taking that idea to the extreme to build this kind of technocrat tyranny that Palantir is trying to build through a surveillance apparatus, expanding it beyond even what the NSA does.

Theil likes to claim he’s a Libertarian, but he says free-market competition is for losers. If you want to get rich, build a monopoly and Theil has built his monopolies with the direct involvement of three-letter agencies of the U.S. government.

He’s a technocrat who’s very connected to people like J.D. Vance; Vance is essentially his protégé, the one that Theil pushed to be the vice president. A lot of people don’t know about his association but it’s stunning.

Alex Karp and Theil are helping to surveil Americans by the creation of a new database that aggregates not only what the NSA has on us, but also information regarding our taxes, our medical status, all sorts of other data points that weren’t coalesced into the same data base yet. This is all built in our midst; this is happening now and, again, the Right isn’t talking about this at all.

When they were creating PayPal they went around to every three-letter agency that would talk to them, so this is a longstanding effort with these people and Peter Theil, I would argue, has been honestly a social-engineering genius in rebranding neo-conservatism as edgy and Libertarian. Libertarians used to be anti-war and now a lot of them are not and you can thank Theil for that.

The propensity to steer Libertarianism in a technocratic direction is obviously a bad thing. I mean, we can get behind the good impulses people like Elon Musk had about reducing government without also aligning with creating a technocratic tyrannical state around a surveillance regime too. You can compartmentalize the good from the bad and be totally against those propensities, but that’s where we’re at.

*****

The tech mafia are way plugged in. We have the assistance of the AI now, but they’ve had the “better” assistance, so there’s a lot of Black Mirror (British TV series) stuff going on. They’re already becoming one with the machine.

Theil said in interview that the Antichrist won’t be him or Elon or anybody like that; it will be somebody who’s worried about the climate, like these different doomsday activists.

Thiel and Musk, like other tech giants, are very focused on immortality, which goes into alchemy.

Theil is a Malthusian and they are straight connected to the Club of Rome. They have this thing called the “point of crisis” that they use to manage population with famine.

I think it’s the exact same thing as singularity. It’s like the false paradigm. The left-right paradigm is all fake.

You have Jeff Bezos wedding and then you have the Extinction Rebellion movement  protesting, but the movement is totally connected with the machine just as much as Bezos is.

Theil is into transhumanism and he’s talked about how the systems could be really good for you, like AI could be really good for everybody; it could essentially push humanity up as far as evolutionary devices.

They show the first person to get the Neuralink implant, which sounds like the mark of the beast, is a guy with a Christian cross on his hat and an American flag behind him. So, it’s being marketed to the Right to take it. Maybe it’s to make the rest of religious people feel a little bit more at ease.

A (astrology) to Z (Zodiac) guide to future

I've got the goods on Palantir Pete (aka Peter Theil, "The Reptile" in anagram form) and will post tomorrow, as I am still finishing at this late hour. He is, of course, the one who put Elon Musk on the map and Trump has helped thrust Thiel more and more into the "spotlight." This is the Deep State aimed to "enslave us all." Please forgive me for taking so long and will post tomorrow for sure.

Astrology interest is growing exponentially, having shed its stigma and “grabbed a foothold in online culture, especially for young people,” reports media outlets.

“Over the past two years, we’ve really seen a reframing of New Age practices, very much geared toward a Millennial and young Gen X quotient,” says Lucie Greene, the worldwide director of J. Walter Thompson’s innovation group, which tracks and predicts cultural trends.

“In some ways, astrology is perfectly suited for the internet age,” reasons an article in Atlantic magazine. “There’s a low barrier to entry, and nearly endless depths to plumb if you feel like falling down a Google research hole. The availability of more in-depth information online has given this cultural wave of astrology a certain erudition—more jokes about Saturn returns, fewer ‘Hey baby, what’s your sign?’ pickup lines.”

*****

In the years I lived in Manhattan (1999-2007) I noticed a growing number of Manhattan storefronts occupied by psychics/astrologers, some of whom were renting from the toniest of addresses.

Walking by these places, I’d often see unlikely types either entering and exiting. I would witness, for instance, very polished, well-dressed, middle-aged businessmen coming out of a psychic center on 9th  Ave. near 45th St, only blocks from my apartment.

At another card-reader spot on 9th in the 30s, I one time saw a young married couple struggling to get their baby stroller into the business’ narrow door. They looked like the kind of clean-cut family you might see in a Land's End catalogue.

*****

According to The Abingdon Bible Commentary, first published in 1929, "The world of Paul's day was full of it—spiritualism, fortune-telling, necromancy. Rich men had their private astrologers, and poor men had recourse to magicians."

In an article by theology professor F. J. Rae, he explained that in Paul’s day, while "the old polytheism was still present in rural districts and still a vital faith," it was no longer "held by the educated."

"In its place more educated cultivated men tried to sustain their souls on philosophy," explained Rae. "The Stoics and the Epicureans were the principal philosophic sects. And these we meet on Paul's visit to Athens (Acts 17:16). But in a time like that, a time of religious decline, with the old religion gone and no new one come, superstition is always rife."

The obtaining of information from the stars dates back to Adam and the pre-Flood civilization.

Jewish historian Josephus confirms that the zodiac originated with Adam, Seth and Enoch and was taught by oral tradition. Astrology represents a satanic perversion of God's original program of revealing revelation through "writing" in the stars before the written Word of God.

"Before the Flood, Adam and the early Believers understood the Word of God, not from the written page, but in the stars," explains Oklahoma TV preacher Les Feldick.

"They had an intrinsic knowledge of the constellations and all these things that was the Word of God written in the stars. But, as the human race degenerated, Satan took that which was spiritually perfect, adulterated it, and turned it to his own purposes so that when we get here to the Tower of Babel, this knowledge of the stars is turned into something that we call now, 'of the spirit world; of the occult,' and the horoscope and everything associated with it is not of God, but of 'The Counterfeiter, The Adversary.' "

The Tower of Babel, of course, represents the origination point for all pagan religions. Years ago, archaeologists found the remains of the ancient tower and  discovered at the tower's top were the 12 signs of the zodiac.

This makes perfect sense since part of the idea behind the tower was for man to reach the realm of the gods (fallen angels aligned with Satan) and a high structure (said to have approached an elevation of 660 feet with its top chapel) gave them a better vantage point to both study and worship the stars, sun and moon.

*****

One major key to understanding the origins of the zodiac can be found in Job 38, in which God asks Job, "Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? Or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons? Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven?"

"The word Mazzaroth means 'the 12 signs' and is a reference to the 12 signs of the zodiac," says Jordan. "God put the constellations in the heavens up there and they're divided, they've got names to them and they also have divisions to them. They have a number involved in them and that number, the number 12, is associated with the nation Israel."

“Joseph's dream account in Genesis 37:9 says, ‘And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it to his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.’

"Now the sun is his daddy, the moon is his mama and the eleven stars are his brothers. Jacob had twelve sons, so eleven of them would be the other brothers and Joseph would be the twelfth. There are 12 sets in the thing and each one of those constellations up there corresponds to one of the tribes of Israel down on the earth.

“These twelve sections that the heavens are divided into compare to the zodiac and the zodiac is the degrees of steps that mark the stages of the sun's path through the heavens. It's an arbitrary division and design.

"The signs of the zodiac are arbitrarily designed pictures in the sky. You can't just look at it and look up there and make any rhyme or reason out of why they did it the way they did it. The reason it's arbitrary is because there's a doctrine being depicted. The pictures they drew teach the doctrine.

*****

"The first sign of the zodiac is a virgin and the last sign is a lion. God made a promise of a Redeemer. In talking to the serpent (Satan), He said in Gen. 3:15, 'And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.'

"God promises the first coming of Christ and the second coming of Christ. In the first coming of Christ, He’ll come as the seed of the woman, the virgin. And Satan will bruise his heel. Then there will be a tremendous conflict—the other signs of the zodiac in there—and then Christ will come and bruise Satan's head. That’s the Second Coming of Christ and at that time He’s the lion of the tribe of Judah. So you have Him beginning as the virgin and ending as the lion."

“The beginning of the cycle is the promise of a Redeemer, then there's the conflict of the ages in between, and, finally, there's the coming of the Messiah—the coming of the deliverer in the lion.

“Egypt's Sphinx, which originally was the head of a woman and the body of a lion, is a memorialization to the ancient pagan understanding of the zodiac, obviously representing its beginning and ending.

"You wouldn't know where to start and end these signs if they just went around and around, so they have the beginning and the ending in the Sphinx and that's what the thing memorializes. Now there's only five people in history who knew anything about that outside the Word of God, since the stuff was lost, but that's what it's all about.

"My point to you is that in the heavens there is a witness that teaches the doctrine people at that time had. They had the information. And they’re coming along here in human history, in Genesis 1-11, and they've got the information and understand what it is, but then they reject it and they corrupt that revelation from God written in the stars and pervert and, as a result, God gave them up to walk in their own ways.

*****

“When the Apostle Paul says in Romans 1 that ‘God gave them up,’ he’s referring dispensationally to this specific time period in Genesis 11 with the Tower of Babel.

"He just let them go right on their jolly-well way. He said, 'If you want to do it your way, then just go ahead,' and that decision was made right there.

“The result, as we all know, is God called out Abraham to set up Israel and He made covenants and promises with Israel alone as he left the Gentiles to walk in darkness.

“The people had made the darkness and chose the darkness, rejecting the light God gave them. His response, therefore, was, ‘Okay, you don't want me; I'll just leave you,’ and he left them in their darkness.

“As the passage on astrology in Isaiah 47 reads, [9] But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.
[10] For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me.
[11] Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.
[12] Stand now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail.
[13] Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.
[14] Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it.
[15] Thus shall they be unto thee with whom thou hast laboured, even thy merchants, from thy youth: they shall wander every one to his quarter; none shall save thee.

By the breath of His mouth

I've been meaning to write about tech billionaire Peter Thiel (whose name is an anagram for The Reptile) and how he's going to give a four-part seminar on the Antichrist next month in San Francisco, using the heading "Acts 17 Collective."

The frustrating thing for me is two weeks ago now at work an employee suddenly lost her job and I've been asked to help fill the void by coming in earlier and working different days, doing different assignments. It's like a seasonal time change trying to cope. The extra work is making me extra tired at night too. Plus, I had to quit drinking coffee or any caffeine on account of my nerves being more fragile.

So, sure hoping I get accustomed to my new life quickly and will have a new post tomorrow no matter what kind of day I have.

*****

Psalm 33:6: [6] By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

"The idea of putting your spirit into some words--there are three times in the Bible you read about how God breathed on some people. The first time is in Genesis 2:7: [7] And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

"If God 'breathed' means anything, it means God breathed some words that were then put on paper; He put His spirit in some words. Jesus said, 'The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.'

"He caused those words to be placed onto paper. People argue about men being inspired, but the writing was inspired too. When you're dealing with this stuff, it seems to me that the best thing to do is go to the Scripture and find out what the Scripture says and then say that," says Richard Jordan.

"I've got probably a dozen different theology tomes in my study. You look up the word 'inspiration' and there will be anywhere from two pages to 200 pages written about it and if you don't know who they are, what school they come from, what theological position they have, you can get all kind of different ideas. The safest thing is just to go to the Scripture and get your definitions out of the Bible.

"Can I tell you that most people I've come across in the last 50 years . . . I've discovered that most people don't get their definitions for inspiration from the Bible. Most people don't even know there is a doctrine in the Bible about preservation, and almost NOBODY knows there's a doctrine about translation.

"So what happens is they will believe the Bible about revelation, then they move over to the Bible in one hand and human viewpoint in the other on inspiration, and then there over in human viewpoint and confusion about preservation because they think that's not a Bible doctrine, and then when you talk about translation they fall right off the stage.

"If you go to the Scripture, it will define all of those for you and then you know how to think about them. I can't answer all the questions for you, but I can show you what God says about how God's people--Jesus, His apostles, etc.--think about these issues and that to me is the key.

"Jesus is in the midst of all the rabbinical scholars of Israel in Mark 12: [35] And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the Son of David?

[36] For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

"That's a quote out of Psalm 110:1: [1] The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

"Notice what Jesus Christ thought about the verse. The words that David said--he spoke and had written down in Psalm 110:1--were the words that the Holy Ghost gave him to put there. Now that is the estimation the Lord Jesus Christ has of Scripture. It's the Holy Spirit speaking through whoever the writer is."

Write 'I-chabod' and they're gone

(unexpected day and evening for sure)

Hosea 13:16 says, “Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.”

“You read that and you go, ‘Whew.’ That’s a demonstration of man’s inhumanity to man. That’s what war’s about. That’s how bad it’s going to get for Israel," says Richard Jordan.
“Hosea 10:15 says, ‘So shall Bethel do unto you because of your great wickedness: in a morning shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off.’

“In one morning the nation is just going to be destroyed and be gone!”
“Spiritual corruption is at the heart of the destruction of the national life of Israel. That’s why Hosea started out talking about how they’re an ‘empty vine.’

“I would say to you that every state has within it the seeds of its own destruction, because the old sin nature of man makes it so that every system of government that’s set up will eventually force the people under its authority to obey and pay for, through confiscation of taxes, unjust laws.
“That moral corruption that comes because we’re sinners results in the destruction of a state. You’re seeing it happen in our nation right now. And we are at that place in our nation where Israel was in Hosea 10, where it’s irretrievable as far as going back to where we once were. The cycle has to see itself through.

“I’ve said to you, Christianity for most of the last 2,000 years has been an underground religion. Grace Believers have always been an underground movement. Bible-believing people like us have always been under the radar.

*****
I Samuel 13 says, [6] When the men of Israel saw that they were in a strait, (for the people were distressed,) then the people did hide themselves in caves, and in thickets, and in rocks, and in high places, and in pits.
[7] And some of the Hebrews went over Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead. As for Saul, he was yet in Gilgal, and all the people followed him trembling.
[8] And he tarried seven days, according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him.
[9] And Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering.
[10] And it came to pass, that as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might salute him.

Jordan explains, “Samuel showed up right on time on the seventh day just like he’s supposed to, but Saul had gone out and usurped the priest office. The result of that was that God rejected Saul and he lost the kingdom.
“That’s exactly what the Antichrist is going to do. He’s going to sit in the temple showing himself that he is God.

“All that Baal worship, religious apostasy and corrupting of the system goes all the way back to the establishing of the nation; the first king in Israel.
“So when Hosea talks about the iniquity in Gilead and the wickedness in Gilgal and so forth, and there’s no king, there’s nothing that’s going to help them in that apostate system.

“Hosea 10 says they’d made a covenant with the Assyrian (of which the Antichrist will be). What you’re going to notice as you go down through this passage is that in the beginning here, when that first portion of the captivity is coming upon Israel, the beginning of the captivity mirrors the ending of the captivity.
“The last stage of the captivity is that 70th week of Daniel. It is mirrored by the first stage; the initial ‘going in.’ And what you see constantly in the taking of Israel is little flash-forwards, as it were, into what’s going to happen in the tribulation.

“The history Hosea is writing is really a dress rehearsal of the tribulation period and this covenant is one of those things.
*****

The famous passage in Isaiah 28 says, [14] Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
[15] Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves.”

Jordan explains, “They thought that covenant they made with the Assyrian was going to deliver them from captivity and destruction, but God says, 'What you’ve done is you’ve made a covenant with death and with hell are we at agreement.' They’re a part of the satanic program.

“Reading that, immediately you think of Revelation 6, if you’re familiar with it, because that rider on that fourth horse is death and hell follows him. Those four horsemen in Revelation 6 represent four different views of the Antichrist; four different roles the Antichrist is going to play.

“Verses 16-17 says, [16] Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
[17] Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.’

“That’s an immediate prophecy about the Assyrian captivity. Prophetically it’s talking about the Antichrist.
“Isaiah 10:5 says, ‘O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.’

“That Assyrian taking them into captivity is a picture and a type and a dress rehearsal of the Antichrist, who also is the Assyrian in Scripture.
“You see, it says in Daniel 9 that after the 69th week, ‘Messiah’s cut off but not for himself.’ There’s the crucifixion. At the end of those 69 weeks, Messiah’s crucified, the city of Jerusalem is destroyed and the prince that shall come does that. He makes a covenant with Israel for one week. In the midst of that 70th week, he breaks the covenant.

“They thought they had a covenant that was going to protect them. They made a covenant with the one who was ultimately going to be the one who destroyed them.

*****
“Daniel 11:21 says, ‘And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.’

“He’s going to come in as a peacemaker and take the kingdom by buttering up Israel and making them think he loves them and that he’s going to be their Messiah.
“The passage goes on, ‘And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.’

“The idea there is they’ve gone out and sought to have the Assyrian deliver them and it isn’t going to work.

*****
“Hosea 10:5 says, ‘The inhabitants of Samaria shall fear because of the calves of Beth-aven: for the people thereof shall mourn over it, and the priests thereof that rejoiced on it, for the glory thereof, because it is departed from it.’

“Chapter 8:5 says, ‘Thy calf, O Samaria, hath cast thee off; mine anger is kindled against them: how long will it be ere they attain to innocency?’
“The calf of Samaria started back in Exodus 32 with the golden calf. In II Kings 8, Jeroboam sets up the golden calf and said, ‘These be thy gods that brought thee out of Egypt.’ It was the main idol of Baal worship.

“Chapter 13:2 says, ‘And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, and idols according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.’
“So you’ve got this idol-worshipping program going on and it’s going on here in Hosea 10 in Beth-aven.

“When you read commentaries, the (scholars) read that word Beth-aven and they start looking for it and there’s no place that they know of that’s called Beth-aven.
“Hosea 10: 8 says, ‘The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.’

“That term ‘aven’; the word itself means emptiness, vanity, wickedness. Beth- (the house) aven (of the sin of Israel). The calves really were at Bethel, but Bethel, ‘the house of God,’ has now become Beth-aven, the house of wickedness.
“Verse 15 says, ‘So shall Bethel do unto you because of your great wickedness: in a morning shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off.’

“In other words, the same place where Jacob spent the night, saw the ladder and so forth and got up the next morning and said, ‘This is the house of God; this is the gate of heaven,’ has been corrupted into the very seat of the satanic religion. That’s how thoroughly Israel had been corrupted spiritually.
“Remember, verse 5 says ‘the people thereof shall mourn over it, and the priests thereof that rejoiced on it, for the glory thereof, because it is departed from it.’ They’re going to lose it all. It’s going to be wiped out. They see it’s going to be a great loss to them.

“Notice that when it says ‘the priests thereof rejoiced,’ it’s in the past tense. They used to rejoice in it because it made them rich; it made them powerful. But now it’s gone. And the people are going to mourn because of that. When He says ‘for the glory thereof,’ that’s sarcasm. It didn’t have any godly glory but it had a man-made glory.
“God took the glory off of Israel and wrote ‘I-chabod’ over the nation. He’s going to take the false glory that the priests and the people attributed to Beth-aven and He’s going to write ‘I-chabod’ over that, too, and they’re going to be gone.

“Verse 6 says, ‘It shall be also carried unto Assyria for a present to king Jareb: Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.’ Even the calves are going to be carried away to the Assyrian. They’re going to be given to King Jareb.

*****
“Back in chapter 5:13, we read about when Ephraim saw his sickness. They were trying to get help from the Assyrian. They made a covenant with the Assyrian that he would deliver them and keep them safe, and it’s going to wind up he’s going to betray them--coming in and taking them--and all that stuff is going to be carried off as a present to him to make him wealthy. That’s exactly what the Antichrist is going to do with them.

“You see, when Israel in the Tribulation would read this, they think going to the Assyrian is a good thing and Hosea’s telling them, ‘Uh-huh, he’s deceiving you.’
“Verse 6 says, ‘It shall be also carried unto Assyria for a present to king Jareb: Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.’

“It’s important to notice, where did it come from? Where does the destruction come from? It comes from them following their own way. It comes from rejecting God’s Word and walking in their own way.
“II Kings 17:9 says, ‘And the children of Israel did secretly those things that were not right against the LORD their God, and they built them high places in all their cities, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city.’

“I mean, they just sunk down into the lowest pits of this stuff. Why did the judgment come? They were going to do what they wanted to do, God’s Word be hanged.
*****

“Years ago, I sat with a young couple and the wife had decided to leave the marriage, and I’m sitting with them in the living room and we were talking a little bit when she finally looked at me and said, ‘I don’t care what you say, my parents say or what God says, I’m through.’

“Well, I just closed my Bible and got up and grabbed my hat and left. What else are you going to do? Well, that’s what these people have done. They said, ‘We don’t care what you say, God says or anybody else says, we’re going to follow our own counsel. We’re going to say these false gods are true and we’re going to worship them.’
"He says in Hosea 6:10 that Israel’s going to be ashamed. They’re going to be carried off into captivity and there’s going to be national humiliation because they followed their own counsel. They’re going to do it their own way.

“Proverbs 13:13 warns about this kind of conduct: ‘Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.’
“National destruction comes when you despise the Word of the Creator. They threw the Bible out of their national life and the result was that in came error, the lie, corrupted them and made their future nothing but absolute complete destruction.

“You say, ‘Why would they do that?!’ Well, their heart was the problem. In Romans 10:3, Paul says that, ‘For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.’
“Going about to establish your own righteousness is another way of saying pride. What does Proverbs 13:10 say? ‘Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.’

*****
“Hosea 10:7 says, ‘As for Samaria, her king is cut off as the foam upon the water.’ That verse gives the new bibles a real problem. It’s strange. Isaiah 57 says ‘the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.’

“There’s no peace for the wicked. They’re like the troubled sea that’s always just spitting. I was raised on the Gulf Coast. One of the things you know after a storm, or after a heavy sea, is there’s always foam. Those white caps are caused by air that gets in the water and it will leave foam on the surface.
“When He says it’s like foam on the water, you just squish foam down. It’s got no substance to it. It isn’t hard to get rid of it. It’s just quickly gone, and they’re going to be cut off and it’s not going to be any problem to destroy them.

“Hosea says ‘in a morning shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off.’ It’s not going to be any big to-do to get it done; it’ll just be ‘pfwhut.’ All this stuff they’ve got going on in their plans of resistance has no substance to it at all.
“In Hosea 10:8, when it says ‘the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars,’ that phraseology occurs only one other time that I’m aware of and it's in Genesis 3:18 when God describes how the earth is going to bring the thorns and thistles out. It’s talking about the curse. What it’s going to take is their altars are going to be left idle and just grown up.

*****
“When I was in college in the 1960s, there was a big movement called the ‘God is Dead Movement.’ Isn’t there a movie out right now called ‘God is Not Dead’? Well, there used to be a theological movement that a guy down in Georgia headed called thanatology.

“ ‘Thanos’ is a Greek word for death and theology is the study of God. It was the study of the death of God and the idea was God’s dead, He’s useless like an appendix you don’t need any more and forget about it.
“I once knew a Christian cartoonist who drew the most fascinating cartoon. It was two guys going out to the cemetery and digging a grave and burying God in the grave. In the first panel you see two guys and they’re walking with their shovels, leaving the cemetery, and there’s a headstone that says, ‘God is Dead.’

“The next panel you see grass begin to grow. In the third panel the grass grew up so high all you could read was ‘God is.’
“I thought, ‘That’s it!’ That’s in essence what He’s saying there: ‘The thorn and thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.’

“All that they were trusting in--Creation’s just going to take it back over, it’s going to be idle and of no value and their going to wind up saying to the mountains, ‘Fall on us.’
“Now you’re in the Tribulation again because in Luke 23:3 Jesus says they’re going to say to the mountains, ‘Fall on us.’ In Revelation 6:16, in that six seal, the kings of the earth and the rich men cry to the mountains, ‘Fall on us and save us from the face of him that sits on the throne.’

“What they’re trying to do is hide from God’s wrath. But that’s another one of these kind of little things that just shoots you over there into the Tribulation so you kind of know the context.

*****
“Hosea 10:9 says, ‘O Israel, thou hast sinned from the days of Gibeah: there they stood: the battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity did not overtake them.’

“That’s Judges 6, 19 and 20 where all that terrible corruption took place in Israel and the nation was just ‘liking it so.’
“The sin that began back there in the Book of Judges is still going on in Israel now. It’s never been dealt with. That mixed multitude, that apostate crowd out there, is still there! Well, God’s going to take care of it.

“The next verse says, ‘It is in my desire that I should chastise them; and the people shall be gathered against them, when they shall bind themselves in their two furrows.’
“God’s determination is He’s going to bring that Fifth Course of Judgment. Now, that verse right there helps you understand something about what’s going on in Leviticus 26.

*****
“The judgments in Leviticus 26 are identified there in Hosea 10:10 as ‘chastenings.’ If you have a Scofield Bible, you’ll see he puts ‘warnings of chastening’ as a paragraph heading over verse 14. Above verse 16 he has the heading, ‘First chastisement,’ then in verse 18, ‘Second chastisement.’

“Scofield knew to identify these things as chastisements, and there are five cycles, or I call them ‘courses’ because they’re meant to be remedial. They’re meant to be not just punishments but learning experiences.
Chastising in the Bible is designed to teach through discipline. It’s different than punishment. Leviticus 26: 23 says, ‘And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me.’

“Notice the purpose of the thing was to reform them. The chastisements were designed to teach Israel and bring them back where they ought to be, not just to destroy them or punish them in the sense of getting even with them.
“Hebrews 12:5, talking about the time period he’s going to be chastising Israel, says, ‘And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him.’

“You see how He defines that word ‘chastening’ in verse 9 as ‘corrected’? Then He goes back to the word ‘chastening’ in verse 10. The idea is that course of punishment on Israel is a corrective discipline.
“Now, He told them that back in Hosea 7:12. ‘I’m going to chasten them just like I said I would in Leviticus 26.’ Hosea is helping you define what’s going on in Leviticus 26 as chastisements. Every time He put one on them, He says, ‘If you won’t hearken for that one, I’m gonna give you some more!’

“The purpose was, ‘Hearken! Listen! Be reformed! Turn around! Repent!’ Now in Hosea 10, they haven’t done that and they face the Fifth Course, which is national deportation.
*****

“God says in Hosea 10:10, ‘It is in my desire that I should chastise them; and the people shall be gathered against them, when they shall bind themselves in their two furrows.’ Those furrows back in verse 4 are furrows filled with hemlock. We read in chapter 12 that those furrows are filled with altars where they’re making sacrifices to Baal.
“Notice when He says ‘they shall bind themselves in their two furrows,’ the southern kingdom is corrupted too. He’s going to deal with the northern kingdom first, as an example, but both kingdoms are in a mess.

“Verse 11 is well-stated: ‘And Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught, and loveth to tread out the corn; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.’
“Now, she’s taught wrong; she’s been taught a lie. When it says she ‘loveth to tread out the corn,’ remember the passage in I Corinthians 9:9: ‘For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen?’

“When they tread out the corn, they get to eat it. She doesn’t love working; she loves eating. She loved the benefits that she had.
“Well, if you go to Micah 3, you’ll see the prophets in Israel were called 'hirelings.' They were doing it for the money. We saw that earlier where they say, ‘Just give me, give me, give me.’

“So He says ‘Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught,’ and that ‘I passed upon her fair neck.' He’s going to put a yoke on her! Now when He says He’s going to make Ephraim to ride, it means somebody’s going to ride on Ephraim. He’s going to put a harness on Ephraim and Ephraim is going to be carried away into captivity and that Assyrian’s going to control them.
“If you look back at Jeremiah 31, they’re going to be carried away into satanic captivity and he’s going to ride them. The one they thought was going to deliver them is really going to be the one who’s going to control them and run them and ride them into the ground.

"Jeremiah 31:11 says, ‘For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.’ Israel was in captivity in the clutches of someone who was stronger than them and they couldn’t get loose.
“Listen, this is God’s chosen nation. They were to be the head of the nations. And He’s making them the tail!

*****

“In Hosea 10: 12, though, comes mercy: ‘Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.’

“Right in the middle of all this darkness is hope.  Now you’re back in Hosea 6: 1-3: ‘He’s going to come revive us. There’s hope!’ When is the hope? When He comes. In the middle of all that darkness there He is as light, but you’re going to have to hang on because it ain’t coming soon.
“That’s why Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount, ‘Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness.’ You see, there had to be a heart attitude to start with to turn this thing around.

“Verse 13 says, ‘Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.’
“That’s that refuge of lies in that covenant back in verse 4. Verse 14 says, ‘Therefore shall a tumult arise among thy people, and all thy fortresses shall be spoiled, as Shalman spoiled Beth-arbel in the day of battle: the mother was dashed in pieces upon her children.’

“That word ‘arbel’ means to be ambushed by God. He’s literally turned the wickedness that’s up in that northern kingdom. It’s the thing that’s going to cause God to destroy them in the day of battle.”
